Before you continue to read any further, ask yourself are you someone who believes in your power of mind? If you are, wouldn’t you agree with me that you will be capable of fulfilling your dreams if you are able to make good use of your mind power?

However, there are just too many skeptical people out there who think that “power of mind” is nothing but a tactic used by internet marketers to make money. And what is worse is that these people think that to achieve your dream through the subconscious is nonsense. As such, it is no wonder why there are so many unhappy people out there; they are not happy with their financial status, job, boss, partner or even life as a whole.

There is no point wasting your time and effort complaining to others about those “misfortunes” that befell on you. What is done cannot be undone. It will be wiser to do something about your life now.

First and foremost, you need to have a better understanding of what this mind power is. It is critical for you to believe the effectiveness of harnessing the mind power to achieve what you desire in life. After all, successful people who took themselves to such altitude believe in the power of mind to achieve what others perceive as impossible to attain. By the use of both your conscious and subconscious mind, you are actually creating a power force in you which can be so motivated for you to work your way through.

Make it clear to your mind what you want. And I mean “what you want” and not “what you do not want”. This is really critical. Create a vision so clear and a plan so detailed and constantly remind yourself of the dream you long to achieve. Soon, very soon, you are positioning this dream into your subconscious mind. Once this is done, you are actually starting to release the power of your mind to achieve your dream.

To better use your mind power, you will also need to focus. Focus on your goal, focus on your direction and focus all your resources, effort and time to accomplish your dream. Unfortunately, most people aren’t good at focusing and due to too many distractions out there. Life is not as simple as it seems, in fact life can be complicated. There are too many responsibilities and problems which can distract us and so, we ultimately resort to firefighting on a daily basis.

So, how to really focus? Personally, I think meditation is the best way to train your mind to focus. Take about just 10 to 20 minutes a day to meditate and you should able to see the progress. There are several meditation techniques and you can actually choose the way that suits you best. You can learn the techniques from books but best of all is to learn it from a master.

Mind power is naturally in you and you just need to unleash it. Without using your mind power, your chance of missing out the great things in life can be very high. Visualized your dream with clarity and concentrate on the route to your destination, you will be on your way to achieving what you long in life very soon.

Feed Your Body What It Needs to Excel!

If your body isn’t getting the foods and nutrients it needs to function properly, then don’t expect your brain to respond appropriately when it’s called upon, either. Some people spend more money and time feeding the right diet to their pets or selecting proper additives for their cars than they do for themselves.

Your brain feeds on the foods you feed your body and if you’re constantly eating an unhealthy diet then not only does your body slow down so does your brain. Often this comes on so slowly it’s not noticed until you’re elderly and then the blame falls on aging.

Following our own dreams and beliefs is often not easy. We’re afraid of what our peers will think and how they’ll react when they discover we believe differently from them. Spirituality is defined as the sensitivity or attachment to religious values. It is also the quality or state of being spiritual. Great and notable teachers say that we are what we think. Our results in life have a direct correlation with our thoughts and attitudes. Positive thinking has shown that if we believe something we can achieve it but we must believe in ourselves and our purpose.

There is no doubt we achieve more when we think positive thoughts rather than thoughts of defeat and fear. Thoughts of failure and fear sabotage us and we cause our own defeat. Expect the worst and you’ll most likely get it.

God has a plan for success. He does not want us to fail and if we believe this then it makes intellectual good sense to seek all the help we can. The Bible teaches that if God is for us, then who can be against us?

Prayer gives us courage to embrace our spirituality and to change ourselves, not God. If spirituality takes away your fears and allows you to move forward with faith and courage then it seems this is the smart way to travel.

Our body is only part of our existence and we influence our body through our thoughts and actions. If we’re smart enough to strive for a better world then work on making a better you with courage through faith.

Summon the courage to embrace your spirituality and to act for the highest good of all mankind. Choose your beliefs for yourself and don’t let anyone else do it for you. You are as right as they are. This is all within the power of your mind.

Resolve the conflicts within your life and you’ll find you can help others resolve theirs. Have the courage to change what you can and embrace what you cannot. Your heart will tell you if you’ve made the right choice.

It’s a scientifically proven fact that mankind uses only about 6% of our brains. Albert Einstein supposedly used 10% of his. That leaves an awful lot of untapped brain power and if we think about it, it really is a great waste, isn’t it?

To control your mind and control your temper is something which can be done by everyone. It does sound easy, isn’t it? But to really do it may be difficult. Many people want to be in control of their mind power but find it very hard to do so. You would need the will to really want to change and recognize the fact that being bad temper is harmful to you both in the physical and psychological sense. What’s more, you would definitely leave a bad impression to those who know you. Hence, it is both important and necessary to learn how to control your temper effectively.

Just like any ordinary day, I had just completed my shopping list and was in the queue waiting for my turn to pay for the items. But today, there was something different.

“I was here first and you cut the queue!” One of the ladies behind me snorted.

“No, you are the one who cut my queue, I was here before you!” The other lady shouted back.

The heated argument ended with one of the ladies slamming her packet of sugar on the counter before walking away furiously, leaving the other lady behind feeling extremely crossed.

I thought of giving up my turn to let them pay first but eventually decided not to because there is still a question as in who would take my place. After finally paying my items, I left with a few questions flowing through my mind.

1. How much time can one lose to wait for another person to pay?
2. Why get so crossed for that few minutes and lost all your happiness for that same period of time?
3. What have one gain by being so particular about being the first in the queue to pay?
4. Why make yourself look so bad in public?
5. Is such bad manner the cause of bad parenting and upbringing?

In most cases, a person would tend to regret after getting so exasperated at something that is so inconsequential. I bet at least one of the two ladies should be feeling bad right now. So how can someone start controlling one’s temper by using the mind power?

Let say if another person has just done something which seems to have got in your nerves and you think your blood is beginning to boil. Now what most people usually will do is burst with anger and start behaving wrathfully and unreasonably. And to do that is just to act on impulse and I believe in most cases would only make the whole situation worse and more unpleasant.

Train your mind to give a second thought before acting. Think about all the negative outcomes from losing your temper now and the likely consequences that follow. Always remind yourself that there is absolutely nothing to gain when you are acting with rage. I don’t mean contemplating but at least just a few seconds can really make a lot of difference.

When you give yourself more time, you will become calmer and as such you will be in a better position to see a clearer picture and deal with the problem more effectively. When you have foreseen the negative consequences of being furious, you are in a way changing your focus. When your focus is no longer on what got in your nerves, you anger will naturally subside.

I personally feel that to control your mind so as to control your temper is the most effective way. When you train yourself to do this, you are in way conditioning yourself to behave this way whenever you feel your blood is beginning to boil. Ultimately, your control becomes a habit which is part of your nature and very soon, those who know you will stop associating you with a hot head. You just have to remind yourself that it is all a matter of how strong your power of mind is. Make it a goal to make some changes to yourself from today!




“Mind over body!” This was the phrase that I used to hear from my superiors while having my long distance run during my national service in army. What the phrase meant was to use my mind to control my physical body. How? By focusing on the finishing line and how fast I would be reaching the spot, my mind in a way got my body going even though I might not have that kind of stamina. Yes, the mind is indeed powerful and it can be powerful in many other areas other than a long distance jog. However, mind power is useful only when you believe in it and know how to use it.

1. Believe in the Power Of Mind
Can a skeptical person make good use of something he or she doesn’t believe in? No and never! When you do not have the belief in the power of mind, naturally you won’t have any confidence in it, let alone testing it out. I emphasize a lot on setting clear goals and visualize them constantly. When you know very clearly where you are heading and hence your progress, it gives you that sense of accomplishment and the motivation to go on. Constantly visualize your dreams like you are looking into the future and your mind will start to pick it up as real. When all seems so real, your mind gets you to work towards your dream industriously. This is how great your mind power is.

Majority of the people have the problem when you ask them to stop thinking negatively. They just cannot defocus on what is making them feel bad. I personally love reading, so most of time when negative thoughts arise; I’ll grab a book and start reading. You may like to jog, spend time with your children, listen to your favorite artist or whatever you love to do. Doing what you love makes you enjoy the process and hence stop those negative thoughts from arising in your mind.

2. Believe in Yourself
If you want to achieve what you want, you need to believe in yourself. You need to possess the self-confidence in you to make things different. There are many benefits in believing in yourself and one of these benefits is to shut out those negative thoughts.

When you feel good about yourself, you have that power of mind to solve all problems. When worries or problems arise, you will take them as challenges and you will want to solve them because solving them gives you a sense of satisfaction and make you feel even better about yourself.

3. Practice
Don’t think that you’ve failed just because you have been catching yourself thinking negatively for the past few hours. As a matter of fact, you are already doing great because you’ve learnt to identify the negative thoughts. What you need to do next requires a little longer time. You have to practice the skill of shifting your focus immediately as and when you catch yourself thinking negatively. Take for instant a career goal; you should be writing down “I will be earning $100,000 per month by the age 30.” instead of “I don’t want to remain poor by the time I retire.”

When you compare the two goals, don’t you find that the formal goal gives you that energy in you and motivates you to go for it?  In fact, this first goal works wonder to your subconscious mind which naturally direct you towards your dream.

You have a dream, you set your goals and you work towards it. A very simple formula towards getting what you want. Don’t bother taking any action to achieve your dream if you have not set your goal. When you strive without a clear goal, chances are you will end up reaching a wrong target. Get your pen and notebook immediately and pen down your goal now.

Unfortunately, most people aren’t good at focusing and due to too many distractions out there. Life is not as simple as it seems, in fact life can be complicated. There are too many responsibilities and problems which can distract us and so, we ultimately resort to firefighting on a daily basis.

So, how to really focus? Personally, I think meditation is the best way to train your mind to focus. Take about just 10 to 20 minutes a day to meditate and you should able to see the progress. There are several meditation techniques and you can actually choose the way that suits you best. You can learn the techniques from books but best of all is to learn it from a master.

Mind power is naturally in you and you just need to unleash it. Without using your mind power, your chance of missing out the great things in life can be very high. Visualized your dream with clarity and concentrate on the route to your destination, you will be on your way to achieving what you long in life very soon.

With an opened mindset, we can actually take a step back to see the problem at hand more clearly. In order to see the nature of your problem, you will need to analyze and see how this problem arises. There must be a cause to your problem and when this cause is eliminated, your problem will cease. With that, you will get a better picture of what you are experiencing now and thus, you will stand a better chance in finding your solution.

There are times when your problem seems to be so gigantic and overwhelming. Such problem can be complicated and it can confuse you to the extent that you are not able to see your solution clearly. When things seem to be complicated, break them down to part by part so as to simplify them. If it is necessary, you may just have to solve it part by part in order to solve the whole problem. It may take a longer time, but you will ultimately solve your problem.

If you think you cannot solve your problem alone, get someone to help you. Two heads are better than one and so, get your family or your friend to find the solution. Getting help from others doesn’t mean that you depend totally on them for the solution. You are supposed to listen to what they have to suggest and take down the ideas. Being opened to all solution and analyze each and every possible solution and come up with the most effective one. If it happen that you know someone who had met with such problem you are facing now, it would be wise to learn from him or her on how the problem was solved.

Make use of your power of mind to be optimistic and believe that there must be a solution out there. You may not solve your problem in your first attempt or even the second, but with persistency and patience, you will be able to wipe out your problem sooner or later and get to achieve whatever dream you may have.

3. Visualize your dreams
When I say visualize your dreams, I do not mean merely picturing the image of your luxurious car or beautiful big house in your mind. Visualizing the images in your mind is important but it is also vital to think about how you will feel when you manage to accomplish your goals. What you are trying to do is to get your subconscious mind to believe that you have already attained those goals and when you do so, your mind power will work towards achieving your goals.

4. Allow positive thinking only
