This might not be the first time you hear about the power of using positive thinking to successfully achieve your goals but are things really that simple? It is really hard to believe that just by thinking positively; you will be able to gain success. You are right because things are really not that simple. There are much more to achieving success in life but to focus on just positive thoughts is really the start to seeing your success.

Believe it or not, your life is greatly influenced by your thoughts. How you perceive yourself will determine how successful you are, even in terms of succeeding in business. Making an attempt to change your thoughts is definitely not going to be an easy task but if you want to make your dreams come true, you will have to start controlling your thoughts.

Does the way you think really affect the way you approach life and your business? Just how true is this? Well, scientists have recently discovered that there is a special relationship between how your mind works and what kind of results you get ultimately.

When you harbor positive thoughts, you are likely to approach life and business with more optimism. You will believe that success is yours someday and will be more willing to take on challenges in life. Positive thinking will help you to eliminate any self limiting beliefs and you will overcome obstacles easily. These are the people who are not afraid to try new things and gain more success in life.

Now that you know of the importance of positive thinking, your next step would be to control your mind such that only positive thoughts are allowed to enter and remain in you mind. However, this monitoring of your thoughts can be very tedious, especially for someone not used to censoring their thoughts. You can get overwhelmed by trying to evaluate every single thought that enter your mind.

You already know that harboring positive thoughts will yield positive results but you might not know that there is a bridge between these two, and that is your feelings. Feelings come about because of what you think and how you feel will usually result in how you react, which in turn leads to your results.

Therefore, one simple way to monitor your thoughts is to be more aware of your feelings. When you are feeling happy about something, it means you are thinking of the positive things and you can allow that thought to remain in your mind. On the other hand, when you are feeling bad about something, negative thoughts are present in your mind and you should eliminate them right away.

Once you have planned your goals, your thoughts will work to either bring you nearer to your achieving them or take you further away. Positive thoughts will make you feel good and are in support of your goals. Similarly, should you start to feel depressed or discouraged, you will have to steer yourself away from those bad feelings and find a way to lift your spirits again, for instance read a story about a successful person. Only then will you be able to turn your thoughts back to more positive ones and start to regain your momentum to working towards your goals again.

Positive thinking will help you to succeed in life but no one says that it is going to be an easy process. However, keep in mind that each time you overcome a negative experience, you are really gaining in confidence and you will be more ready to tackle the next obstacle that comes along. Over time, you will be able to achieve your dreams. That is how wonderful our power of mind is!




Before you continue to read any further, ask yourself are you someone who believes in your power of mind? If you are, wouldn’t you agree with me that you will be capable of fulfilling your dreams if you are able to make good use of your mind power?

However, there are just too many skeptical people out there who think that “power of mind” is nothing but a tactic used by internet marketers to make money. And what is worse is that these people think that to achieve your dream through the subconscious is nonsense. As such, it is no wonder why there are so many unhappy people out there; they are not happy with their financial status, job, boss, partner or even life as a whole.

There is no point wasting your time and effort complaining to others about those “misfortunes” that befell on you. What is done cannot be undone. It will be wiser to do something about your life now.

First and foremost, you need to have a better understanding of what this mind power is. It is critical for you to believe the effectiveness of harnessing the mind power to achieve what you desire in life. After all, successful people who took themselves to such altitude believe in the power of mind to achieve what others perceive as impossible to attain. By the use of both your conscious and subconscious mind, you are actually creating a power force in you which can be so motivated for you to work your way through.

Make it clear to your mind what you want. And I mean “what you want” and not “what you do not want”. This is really critical. Create a vision so clear and a plan so detailed and constantly remind yourself of the dream you long to achieve. Soon, very soon, you are positioning this dream into your subconscious mind. Once this is done, you are actually starting to release the power of your mind to achieve your dream.

To better use your mind power, you will also need to focus. Focus on your goal, focus on your direction and focus all your resources, effort and time to accomplish your dream. Unfortunately, most people aren’t good at focusing and due to too many distractions out there. Life is not as simple as it seems, in fact life can be complicated. There are too many responsibilities and problems which can distract us and so, we ultimately resort to firefighting on a daily basis.

So, how to really focus? Personally, I think meditation is the best way to train your mind to focus. Take about just 10 to 20 minutes a day to meditate and you should able to see the progress. There are several meditation techniques and you can actually choose the way that suits you best. You can learn the techniques from books but best of all is to learn it from a master.

Mind power is naturally in you and you just need to unleash it. Without using your mind power, your chance of missing out the great things in life can be very high. Visualized your dream with clarity and concentrate on the route to your destination, you will be on your way to achieving what you long in life very soon.

Feed Your Body What It Needs to Excel!

If your body isn’t getting the foods and nutrients it needs to function properly, then don’t expect your brain to respond appropriately when it’s called upon, either. Some people spend more money and time feeding the right diet to their pets or selecting proper additives for their cars than they do for themselves.

Your brain feeds on the foods you feed your body and if you’re constantly eating an unhealthy diet then not only does your body slow down so does your brain. Often this comes on so slowly it’s not noticed until you’re elderly and then the blame falls on aging.

As the brain ages, the memory fades and it loses the ability to help itself. It becomes an easy prey for oxidation and inflammation, which can kill the brain cells. To lead a healthy and productive life, it’s imperative to tune your body and your mind so that both are functioning efficiently.

Of course, you need to exercise, keep your blood pressure in check and get proper rest, at least seven hours of sleep at night. If you smoke, stop. And, concentrate on a diet that’s rich in mind and body enhancing nutrients. Supplements can be taken but it’s best to rely on natural foods to obtain the best and longer lasting results.

We can learn a lesson from plants. They produce their own antioxidants to protect themselves from diseases, pollution and other harmful elements in the environment. So, we should ingest foods that are rich in antioxidants such as fruits and berries including grapes, cherries, apples, plums and oranges. Blueberries and cranberries have proven to be especially high in antioxidants that aid in memory retention.

Vegetables high in antioxidants include the green and leafy types such as spinach, broccoli, kale and brussel sprouts. Beets, red bell peppers, onions and garlic are also rich in the desired nutrients. Chard, turnip and collard greens are also high in antioxidants but not as much as their cousins.

Omega 3 fatty acids must not be forgotten and they may be found in salmon, tuna, herring, mackerel and sardines. Seafood also is packed with B vitamins as well as dairy products, eggs, spinach, carrots and various nuts and seeds.

Some spices are also excellent in providing a better memory and healthy body by improving your motor skills and aiding your brain to communicate and regenerate.

As you will have gathered from previous articles on this site, the law of attraction does not always work the way that all parties involved would like it to. Why is that? After all, in the law of attraction is universal, why does it only work part of the time and not every time?

The answer to that is found in the minds of the people who are attempting to use it to their own benefit. The only thing standing between you and success is yourself; this was discussed in great details in earlier articles on the Law of Attraction. If the mind is clogged with so much negative energy that it cannot release the positive vibes which will attract the positive energies of the universe, the law of attraction will not be able to help them. They must first rid themselves of all of these negative vibes and start fresh.

Even though the Law of Attraction is known to help you attract all the things you want to achieve in life; all your dreams. The opposite is also true. If, instead of focusing on the positive things in life and on all the things that you wish to achieve, you start to fill your thoughts with the negative thoughts, you will find that what you do not want keep happening! On the other hand, what you do want is being driven away. This is called sabotaging your own efforts!

Therefore, keep in mind to focus your energy on what you want to achieve. Visualize the images of your dreams and your feelings when you have them. As for the negative thoughts, get rid of them as soon as they enter your mind! Remember, the power of your mind is very strong!

In a previous article, I mentioned about using the Law of Attraction to improve the relationship between you and your family members. I am sure many of you are also keen in learning how you can find your other half by utilizing this Law and you are going to find your answers here.

The process of attracting a significant other is much the same; however, in order for the law of attraction to be able to attract them to you, you must be very specific when making your request to the universe regarding exactly what it is that you are looking for in a relationship.

This does not mean that you should outline the color of their hair, their eyes, their political background (although if this is of primary importance to you, it may be worth submitting it for consideration) or their political position in society. Remember, the law of attraction means that your subconscious mind is going to be drawn to their subconscious mind, and politics are not going to be of primary importance there.

Instead, focus on the kind of values you wish for them to possess, the type of relationship that you are looking to share with them (do you want to get married, date casually, etc) as well as personality traits which you feel are especially important. Then allow yourself to believe that you are going to find this paragon of virtue.

The last step here is the most important. The belief that a relationship with the person of your dreams is beyond your reach is going to result in you being absolutely correct. Remind yourself that every day hundreds of men and women are building a life with the person of their dreams; there is no reason for you to be excluded from this number. The key point is: think positive.

It is essential that once you have placed a request for a significant other with the universe that you be willing to have patience for the desired results to occur. The whys and wherefores of this will be discussed in more depth a bit later, but for now let us look at the obvious. The universe is not always going to give you exactly what you want, exactly when you want it. It does things in its own time.

Now, imagine that you have asked the universe to give you the man or woman of your dreams, but you become impatient because they have not yet become a part of your life within a few months of making the request. You begin to date someone else, and that someone else begins to occupy your mind and your attentions until they are all that you see. They are not the person which you asked the universe for, however; they are simply someone intended to fill the time until that person arrives.

Over the course of time that you are dating this other individual, however, you have become acquainted with quite a lot of new people. These new people are shadows passing in and out of your life because they are not this new person whom you have begun to date. What would you do if the person you had been waiting for was among that number? What if they had come looking for you, but you did not recognize them because you were so busy trying to keep yourself busy until they got there?

It is essential that you not close either your mind or your heart to the universe because of external distractions; this is the most fatal mistake you could make, for it means that you have lost faith in the ability of the energies of your mind to interact with the energies of nature to bring you your desired results, and the negative energies generated from these thoughts will result in the person of your dreams walking away from you before you even knew they were there.

Therefore, in other words, in order for the Law of Attraction to work for you, you must be patient and have faith. Stick to your unwavering belief of what you desire to achieve and over time, with hard work and help from the universe, your dreams will come true. Remember, your power of mind must not be taken lightly of!

By now, you are well aware that the Law of Attraction works for bringing wealth to you but does it work for improving family relationships?

It is vital to see how the Law can be applied on relationships among family members because there are two parts of life which people generally try to change; their work environment and the relationships which they have with their families and their significant others. You may be asking yourself, “Can the law of attraction really help me to build relationships with the people that I love, and to mend broken fences?”

The answer is, absolutely! The people you love are governed by the same ebb and flow of energy as you yourself are, and as such their energies will naturally be attracted to like energies which are being emitted from another person. If you are vibrating positive energies and emotions they will respond in kind. They will not be able to help themselves; it is simply the way of the world.

In this article, let us first consider the relationship among family members. As with family, there is already a subliminal bond which will help you to improve your relationship right from the very beginning. There are many reasons why family members may find themselves at odds with each other; it is not necessarily a pre-requisite that you like the people you are supposed to love, and for families who often find themselves in each other’s back pockets and competing for common resources the fights can become vicious.

Regardless of the reasons you and your family may have had for your falling out it is never good to leave relationships festering like that. You need to fix them in order to achieve true serenity and harmony in your life (have you begun yet to notice how closely the law of attraction interacts with other laws which govern the universe?). In order to fix a relationship that has been broken you must first be confident in the fact that you not only are going to be able to mend the broken ties, but that you truly want to.

It is very easy to utter lip service to the people around you, telling them that you want to mend your broken fences (and often blaming the fact that they are broken on the other party involved, of course) when in reality you continue to carry the stain of dislike that you hold towards the other person in question. You don’t really want to mend your fences, or if you do you have not yet let go of what has caused the separation in the first place.

Letting go of your resentment is an essential ingredient in finding harmony, for in order for the law of attraction to be able to work to smoothen your way you must first rid yourself of all of the negative energy you have been sending towards them so far. It is important that you accept the fact that you can forgive and forget, allowing you as well as the family member concerned to move on with your life with a much happier relationship than you have experienced to date.

It is not difficult to forgive and forget, remember, it all depends on how you utilise your power of mind! As long as you are determined to make things work out well, stick on with your belief and you will see success after some time.

Let us for a moment consider the possibilities of the law of attraction when applied to your working environment. For those who are searching for a job it may be impossible to find one which suits them. Is this because such a job does not exist, or is it because in their subconscious mind they believe that they will not be able to find a job and consequently are releasing so much negative energy out into the universe that they are actually driving these jobs away?

Anyone who has ever tried to search for a job (or known somebody who was) knows that you have a drastically improved chance of finding gainful employment when you are already employed elsewhere than when you are unemployed. For someone who has lost their job and is currently without employment it may seem easier to climb Mount Everest than to get that first all-important interview. It seems as though job after job simply isn’t interested in what they have to offer.

Why is this? It certainly cannot be because there are no employment opportunities out there; after all, chances are they would not have applied for the job if the job had not already made clear its interest in recruiting new employees. Why, then, do people suffer from unemployment for months or even years at a time?

The answer to that is the unemployed often believe they will not be able to find a job, and consequently they have stopped trying. In their subconscious minds they do not truly believe that any of their efforts will bear fruit, and so they are projecting that negative energy all around them.

On the other hand, an individual who already has a job is secure and confident in their ability to find a job and do it well; after all, someone has obviously thought them worthy enough to hire them (and keep them) in the first place, and chances are if they are searching for a new job it is because they are confident enough in their abilities that they believe they deserve a job that will treat them better, pay them more or provide more stimulating work, etc.

It is this quiet confidence that will lead to the effects of the law of attraction becoming obvious. Since they are projecting this positive energy around them they will be drawing in positive energy as well, thereby attracting the job that they truly want. Remember, when you are listing your goals, you have to accept the fact that they could happen.

Chances are that you too are looking for more from your career than you have right now; if you are not, then you probably don’t need to be reading this because you have obviously already mastered the ability to chart your own destiny. If you are still seeking for that golden opportunity, ask the universe for it, then sit back and wait, secure in the knowledge that the universal law of attraction will bring it to your doorstep. However, you will still have to take actions when the time is right, eg. applying for the job, going for the interview, etc. It might not be today, it might not be tomorrow, but it will occur.

As such, you need to believe in yourself, believe that what you desire will come true. If you have ever gone to high school you have probably received the lecture on what to do and what not to do in an interview. One of the biggest don’ts in interviewing protocol is to let the interviewer see that you are nervous. By showing the interviewer that you have confidence in your ability to handle any job which they throw at you, you are increasing your value as an employee in their eyes.

Is this need for absolute confidence a coincidence only, or is it the law of attraction at work? By having confidence in your abilities you are sending positive energy out into the universe, and consequently drawing the positive energies currently existing in the universe back unto yourself.

It is impossible to over-emphasize the importance of vibrating positive energy when you are talking about the law of attraction, and you will see this theme repeated in any and all conversations pertaining to it. The release of positive energy into the universe is what allows you to chart the course of your destiny on a strong route to success rather than a wavy road of uncertainty that will eventually lead you unhappiness, either through the failure to achieving your goals for which you have worked so hard or through the constant up and down flow of your life, never being certain which is going to dominate.

It’s a scientifically proven fact that mankind uses only about 6% of our brains. Albert Einstein supposedly used 10% of his. That leaves an awful lot of untapped brain power and if we think about it, it really is a great waste, isn’t it?

Consider what we’ve accomplished with the little bit of brain power we’ve been using since the dawn of man. Is it so hard then to consider the possibilities of what we could achieve? Just imagine, what if we could use more of our brain power? We could definitely achieve anything we want then!

The Law of Attraction, positive thinking or whatever you want to call it, works on the premise that we’re capable of determining what we have and how we live with the power of our psychic energy.

The idea is that we’re able to direct our mental abilities, our thoughts, towards our goals and desires and obtain them.

Granted this ability isn’t something that’s easily obtained. Most people have spent their lives under the impression that the world affects them. Not the other way around but they cannot be further from the truth!

It’s a generally held belief that if fate is determined by us, it’s through our actions and not our thoughts. But aren’t our thoughts the basis of our actions?

If our thoughts cause us to act, and that action results in obtaining our goal, can we not say our thoughts were responsible for the results? Therefore, the results of our actions are determined by our thoughts. Whether they’re conscious or not, our thoughts do determine what and who we are. When we are able to fully utilize our power of mind, we can achieve anything we want in life!

There are basically 3 steps to making the Law of Attraction work for you. These are the foundation steps for the Law. Whether we realize it or not, the Law is always working. Positive attracting positive and negative attracting negative. Therefore, skipping steps may cause results that differ greatly from what you intended.

Step #1: Know what you desire and ask for it
Knowing what you want isn’t as easy as it sounds. Aside from the basic physical needs, your mind is filled with wants, desires and fears. These thoughts can be both conscious and unconscious.

You need to know why you want the things you want. Maybe what you really want, isn’t what you’re asking for at all. The conscious thoughts produce the same amount of energy as the unconscious ones. And if they’re contrary to one another, you’re defeating yourself.

Step #2: Believe that what you desire is already yours
Visualizing that you have already achieved your desire is an important step in the Law of Attraction. It’s the “positive thinking” step. Focusing on having it will create positive energy. The completion of your desire is a result of this positive energy.

Step #3: Receive
This step is the one where so many people lose it. It’s the completion of your desire. Allow yourself to acknowledge your right to have your wishes fulfilled.

For many, accepting this final step is the hardest part. If you consciously or unconsciously feel you don’t deserve what you’re asking for, you won’t get it. If you don’t believe you’re worthy of having your desires come true, they never will. Thus, you have to control your power of mind and get it to help you achieve success in life and not the other way round!

Because our thought process is constantly working, the Law of Attraction is constantly working as well. Many of our thoughts are at the unconscious level, so we’re not always aware of what type of energy those thoughts may be creating. However, you can be very sure that those thoughts that you harbor deep in your will attract some kind of energy, be it good or bad.

By that, I mean all your positive thoughts will attract positive energy and similarly, your negative thoughts will also attract negative energy. So, if you are spending half an hour each day or a few hours each day focusing your thoughts on the positive and telling your subconscious mind that you are deserving of your goals, but on the other hand, you spend the rest of the time having doubts about your goals and the power of the Law of Attraction, the results will still be negative. Thus, you have to be careful not to sabotage your own efforts.

According to the Law of Attraction, if you want something badly enough and you truly believe it’s possible for you to have it, you’ll probably get it. But the same is true for negative thoughts.

If you spend a lot of time thinking on the things you don’t want or which you fear, and you believe it’s possible for you to experience them, it’s just as likely they’ll come your way. You can’t avoid unpleasant things by hoping they don’t happen.

Your unconscious is literal and produces negative energy the same as it does positive energy. It doesn’t know the difference. Your unconscious mind doesn’t understand “I don’t want”.

To truly achieve the positive benefits of the Law of Attraction, you have to become aware of what you’re focusing your attention on. You have to be the master of your mind if you want to tap on its power.

Are you focusing on what you want? Or don’t want? Do you have thoughts or beliefs that are contrary to what you want? If you truly want something, but feel you don’t really deserve it, those thoughts will be translated into energy, and the Universe will “feel” that you don’t deserve it.

Becoming aware of what you’re spending your energy on, enables you to change it. Therefore, in order for the Law of Attraction to work for, you have to first allow yourself to focus all your thoughts on the things you really want. Make full use of your mind power to achieve your goals in life. When done correctly, you will soon find that it is really a very simple process.

If you have heard about the Law of Attraction, you will know that the law works on the basis that if you want something, all you have to do is ask for it. You might be thinking that sweeter words have never been spoken. It seems that it is too good to be true. But that doesn’t mean it can’t be true. Good things really can be yours just from asking for them.

Actually, to re-phrase it, good things can really be yours when you know how to ask. In fact, that is the key. Knowing how to ask, and knowing what to ask for. You can ask for anything you want. But asking for a new car when you really want a Porsche, doesn’t mean you’ll be satisfied with just “a new car”. And just saying “I want a Porsche” and then going on about your life as usual probably won’t get it for you either.

In other words, there are really a few steps to applying the Law of Attraction. Focusing your thoughts on getting that new Porsche is the first step, picturing yourself driving it, truly believing you deserve it, and allowing it to come to you is the way to get it.

Just by asking is only the first step in the Law of Attraction. Feeling and acting as if you’ve received it is the second, knowing you deserve it and allowing it to come to you is the third.

When you utilizing the power of the Law of Attraction, you must not have any doubts arising. This is because having doubts about your worthiness produces negative energy. And negative energy produces negative results. If you don’t think you deserve a new Porsche, you won’t get it. If you don’t think the Law of Attraction works, it won’t work for you.

Positive energy is the only way to get positive results. And positive energy is only produced by positive thoughts. Your power of mind is very strong and powerful and by being in full control of it, you will be able to achieve anything you want in life. However, you have to start by filing your mind with only positive thoughts.

First and foremost, what exactly is The Law of Attraction? The Law basically says we can get what we think about. Our circumstances aren’t determined by the fickle hand of fate, but instead are shaped by our own conscious and unconscious thoughts – your mind power.

To make the Law of Attraction work for you, you have to know what you want and ask for it. Then, go ahead and start making plans for after you receive it.

However, this doesn’t mean that you simply ask for money, and then start spending like it’s in your pocket! You will soon have the creditors banging on your front door if you do that! Instead, it actually means make plans for how you’re going to spend the money when it does get into your pocket.

The hardest part for most people is to be open to receiving it. This is where doubting that you really deserve it can prevent anything good from happening. If you don’t think you deserve good things, they won’t come to you.

Another problem some people have is thinking about the things they don’t want to happen to them. The thought fulfilling universe doesn’t understand the concept of “I don’t want”. If you spend your time dwelling on negative things, that’s what you’re going to get – negative results!

The Law of attraction isn’t going to solve all your problems overnight. But if you start practicing it on a conscious level, eventually it will become second nature to you.

You won’t have to steer your mind to thoughts of positive things. It will already be there. Positive thoughts breed positive actions and reactions. Give it an honest try and you may be pleasantly surprised.

So, how do you get started with applying the Law of Attraction in your daily life so that it helps you to attain success? The way to get what you want through the Law is learning to control your thought process. As mentioned earlier, negative thoughts produce as much energy as positive thoughts so if you find that you are receiving a lot of negative things happening in your life, it could be something to do with your thoughts process. Start examining what you are thinking most of the time and curb the negative thoughts when they appear.

Thinking about your fears and saying “I don’t want that” is probably going to result in your fears being realized. Cosmic energy is literal. It doesn’t understand “I don’t want”. You have to re-phrase your thought sentences into something more positive.

The Law Of Attraction produces results based on energy. So if you’re producing more negative energy than positive, your results are going to be negative. Thus, you have to make a conscious effort to keep track of what your mind is thinking.

Training your mind to concentrate on the positive instead of the negative is a necessary, but often difficult process. People are worriers.

It’s a survival thing designed to help us remember and avoid the dangers of life. But being aware of our fears and letting them control our thoughts are two different things. Turning the negative fears into positive thoughts is the key.

Just remember that your thoughts are yours. They can be your faithful servants or your masters. Which ever way you allow them to be. You have the control, you make your choice. Only you can determine which course your thoughts take.

Learning to control your thoughts can be done by learning to control your will. Start by mastering yourself. Phrases like “I am master of my self” can lead you in the right direction to attracting more positive energy.

Repeating these or similar words, and believing them, will make them real. Remember your power of mind? When confronted with fears and doubts, remembering to “master” your thoughts keeps the positive energy flowing. In this way, you are leaving no room for the negative energy to manifest.

This means that if a person is emitting positive vibes they will draw good things to them and if they are emitting negative vibes they will draw bad things to them.

“You are a living magnet, attracting what you want.”

You have seen this principle in practice before. Have you ever known someone who was always upbeat and positive and seemed to be too lucky to be true? On the flip side, you have certainly known someone who loved to complain and look on the darker sides of life that always seemed to have something new to complain about because things were always going wrong in their life. These examples show people attracting the results of the energy they are giving off.

Does this mean that all of the bad things that happen to you in this life are because you subconsciously wanted them to? This is one of the most common arguments against the concept of the law of attraction and it often the hardest to refute because people have not yet recognized that the law of attraction is not a pipe dream or something that someone dreamed up while sitting on their porch one hot summer night. It is a fact of life, and its effects are far reaching.

In answer to your question, no, not everything bad that happens in your life is a result of you subconsciously wishing for it to happen. Sometimes it is a result of someone else wishing for it to happen. To quote an example from a website pertaining to the law of attraction, a child or a spouse who is abused is not abused because they wished for this abuse to happen. This abuse happened because the abuser allowed their negative thoughts concerning their child or spouse to creep across their subconscious until they eventually began to dictate their actions.

The mind is a powerful thing, and where the mind goes the feet will soon follow. The foundation of any success you are going to encounter in lie is not the ability of your physical body to overcome the obstacles but of your mind to believe that a way lies around them. “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.” Where your mind can believe that there is a way for the body to achieve its heart’s desire, a way does exist. Thus is your supreme power of mind!

This emotional energy is what is commonly known as a “vibe” and is referred to as a vibration by scientists studying the law of attraction. Chances are that you are familiar with the term. Have you ever been with someone who is so happy they seem to be radiating a “glow” which inspires happiness in all those around them?

By the same token, have you ever spent time with someone who was so critical and unhappy that they consistently gave off a “negative vibe” which seemed to suck the life and happiness out of all those around them?

You do not have to possess psychic powers to be able to feel the vibes that people emit; this energy is very real on a psychological plane and will affect anyone, anywhere at any time. Our vibrations are usually an unconscious response to some form of environmental stimulus; something has happened which has caused us to feel happy, or sad, or scared, or confused, or stressed, etc., and our subconscious response to this (because vibes are generated and projected from the subconscious rather than the conscious) is something that is beyond our control.

Chances are the person who is emitting a negative vibe does not choose to be unhappy, nor do they wish to inflict their unhappiness on all those around them by the simple fact of their presence. (Before you say what you are thinking, yes, there are some exceptions to this rule. Misery does love company and there are many who take a great deal of delight in inflicting their pain on other people. It is important to understand that this is not usually done in a desire to cause others pain but more of a desire to not feel so alone in their unhappiness. But we digress…)

There are a number of feelings which lead to positive and negative vibes being emitted, and it is important before we continue on any form of discussion about the law of attraction that you understand what each of these are. In this way, you will make use of your power of mind to generate more of the positive vibes and cut down on the negative ones.

Positive vibes

  • Positive vibes are generated from good feelings, such as:
  • Joy
  • Love
  • Excitement
  • Abundance (of anything that causes a positive response)
  • Pride
  • Comfort
  • Confidence
  • Affection

Negative vibes

  • Negative vibes are generated from negative feelings, such as:
  • Disappointment
  • Loneliness
  • Lack (of any of life’s necessities or luxuries)
  • Sadness
  • Confusion
  • Stress
  • Anger
  • Hurt
