To make decisions about doing or not doing certain things can determine your success in life.  Have you ever wonder why some people have it all? And why is it that you aren’t just cut out for it? Yes indeed, if you think you really cannot do it, you are most probably right. “How discouraging and cruel!” you may think, but don’t get me wrong for saying that.

Most of us just don’t have the confident to do something which we have never tried in our life because we do not have any experience to fall back on and they do not have a strong mind power. And as such, when we don’t have any confident and courage to even tried it, we are already beginning to fail.

Undeniably, life isn’t a bed of roses. There are many decisions to make, both the simple and difficult ones. The difficult ones are those which are always giving you the hard time to decide. And when you cannot decide, you wait for another day to make that decision. We call this procrastination. When you are procrastinating, you will not be able to achieve your goals.

Procrastination is undesirable and almost always kills your dreams. By the time you have really decide, your golden chance may have been grabbed by another person and you would find yourself being passed again.

How to make decision about anything? Below are three simple tips you may like to apply before making great decisions.

1. Pro and Cons
Take a short while to see the future. What if you have decided and succeeded in whatever you do. Ask yourself some of the following questions.
• “What will I gain?”
• “Are those which I’ve gained what I have long for?”
• “How will these gains benefit family and me?”
What happen if you’ve make a wrong decision? What will that cost you?
• “What will I lose?”
• “Can I afford the lost?”
• “How will my family and I be affected by the failure?”
• “Am I causing any harm to anyone in the process of doing this?”
There are many questions you can consider prior to balance up before deciding. If you see that pros are more than cons, you can be more assured and make that decision.

2. Develop your Confidence
There are some decisions you fear to make due to the lack of confidence. You think you just cannot do it while at the same time you want to do it. So what are you going to do? Take for instant a new job which is totally different from what you have been into, you may feel incompetent but at the same time, you need that job. Well, what you are supposed to do is to develop your confidence by gaining the experience of doing it in the fastest way. You can do by either learning from someone who has the relevant experience or by reading more about it; it can be learnt through books or internet. Reading can give you a lot of insight to a lot of things.

3. Be positive
Wouldn’t you agree with me that there are some decisions which we just cannot make? There are simply too many issues making it too complicated to make a smart decision. Well, you can first try to break the issues to parts and deal with them individually or second, make your decision with positive thinking.

When you are positive about the outcome, you have an aim to succeed by doing whatever it takes. What this means is that once you’ve decided, go for it wholehearted and with full force. There is no U-turn and no looking back. Repeatedly tell yourself that you will only accept success and nothing else. You have to make full use of your power of mind if you really want to attain success in life!

You can make decisions about anything in your life as long as you are sure you can do it. Taking donkey years to make one decision will not only let golden opportunity slips away, but also reflects very badly on you. Nobody can constantly make the right decisions. There were times when we made the wrong decisions. What is done cannot be undone so why regret? When wrong decisions are made, take them as valuable lessons learnt and move on.




Are you someone who believes in your power of mind? If you are, wouldn’t you agree with me that you will be capable of fulfilling your dreams if you are able to make good use of your mind power? However, there are just too many skeptical people out there who think that “power of mind” is nothing but a tactic used by internet marketers to make money. And what is worse is that these people think that to achieve your dream through the subconscious is nonsense. As such, it is no wonder why there are so many unhappy people out there; they are not happy with their financial status, job, boss, partner or even life as a whole.

There is no point wasting your time and effort complaining to others about those “misfortunes” that befell on you. What is done cannot be undone. It will be wiser to do something about your life now.

First and foremost, you need to have a better understanding of what this mind power is. It is critical for you to believe the effectiveness of harnessing the mind power to achieve what you desire in life. After all, successful people who took themselves to such altitude believe in the power of mind to achieve what others perceive as impossible to attain. By the use of both your conscious and subconscious mind, you are actually creating a power force in you which can be so motivated for you to work your way through.

Make it clear to your mind what you want. And I mean “what you want” and not “what you do not want”. This is really critical. Create a vision so clear and a plan so detailed and constantly remind yourself of the dream you long to achieve. Soon, very soon, you are positioning this dream into your subconscious mind. Once this is done, you are actually starting to release the power of your mind to achieve your dream.

To better use your mind power, you will also need to focus. Focus on your goal, focus on your direction and focus all your resources, effort and time to accomplish your dream. Unfortunately, most people aren’t good at focusing and due to too many distractions out there. Life is not as simple as it seems, in fact life can be complicated. There are too many responsibilities and problems which can distract us and so, we ultimately resort to firefighting on a daily basis.

So, how to really focus? Personally, I think meditation is the best way to train your mind to focus. Take about just 10 to 20 minutes a day to meditate and you should able to see the progress. There are several meditation techniques and you can actually choose the way that suits you best. You can learn the techniques from books but best of all is to learn it from a master.

Mind power is naturally in you and you just need to unleash it. Without using your mind power, your chance of missing out the great things in life can be very high. Visualized your dream with clarity and concentrate on the route to your destination, you will be on your way to achieving what you long in life very soon.

Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life

A same situation is viewed differently by different people. Try finding two people with the same thought; well it is just too difficult. When two people are facing the same challenges in life, they may have different reactions. One may see the possible problems ahead and become depressed; while another person may see it as an opportunity to create a break through and become enthusiastic in solving the problems. Hence, why not change your life by thinking positive. 

Walking through your life, you will definitely come across a lot of options to make and a lot of decisions to make. You may not be aware but if you are someone who is always thinking negatively, you are almost always ready to give up hope. On the other hand, if you are always optimistic, you will view life more positively and challenge each and every obstacle more enthusiastically. In the latter case, life can be more fulfilling.

The number of people who are suffering from depression has never been higher. As compared to Terrence, Julius is a far more positive thinker.  He did not view this setback as permanent and readily take it as a lesson learnt. He did not see himself as a failure as quitting has never come across his mind. Although he has to take up a job to earn his living and save for his next venture, he interpreted the setback as one valuable experience. He is an optimist who will never be knock out by obstacles and is always prepared to venture out again.

So, who do you think will ultimately stand a higher chance to succeed in life? The answer is obvious.

How you react to a situation determine how the consequences will turn out. When you see problem as it is and focus on solving it, you can solve your problem faster and more effectively. If, on the other hand, you are seeing the problem as permanent and focusing on the problem itself, it will stay with you for life.

So why bother torturing your brain cells to focus on problems in life and worry about what that has not happen? Take over the control of your mind power. How do you measure success? It’s probably not exactly the same for any two people. While athletes measure success by wins or their personal best, a business owner may measure success by the amount of money their business nets every year.

Regardless of how you measure success, it all starts in your mind…..your subconscious mind, to be exact. While most people are familiar with the concept of the subconscious mind, few truly understand how to use its power to create the success (and happiness) that they desire.

To take advantage of this incredibly powerful tool, you must first program your subconscious mind for the success you are seeking. Without a clear, consistent “picture” of the results you seek, your subconscious mind can actually sabotage even your best efforts.

Any time there is confusion, your subconscious will struggle to help you achieve your goals. That’s why the more concise your goal and your mental image of its results, the better the chances you’ll achieve it. By creating and focusing on this concise concept of what you want to achieve, you’re helping your subconscious mind manifest that result in your reality.

It’s very important to monitor what you tell your subconscious verbally and silently. Most people are surprised to find when they actually start to “listen” to the words they use on a daily basis that they are issuing counterproductive “requests” to their subconscious.

Make sure to use positive descriptions when speaking aloud or to yourself silently about your goals. Instead of saying “I won’t be overweight anymore”, phrase your request in a positive way: “I am thin.”

Also, it’s important to use a present tense, not a future tense like “I will be thin” as your subconscious takes everything literally. If your request is in the future, it will think that it doesn’t need to change anything now. It lives in the present.

Be careful not to use negative words accidentally: such as “I’m not going to be poor any more.” Your subconscious mind doesn’t understand words like “not”, “doesn’t” or “won’t”. It will automatically delete those words from your request which will almost always create the opposite meaning and results of your goal!

There are many techniques you can use to create clear pictures of your completed goal. Most find that imagining a movie in their mind of what it will be like when you achieve your goal to replay in your thoughts to be very effective. For example, if you’re trying to wipe out your credit card debt, imagine yourself receiving statements from your credit card companies with a $0 balance on the payment section.

Remember, what you focus on expands. If you constantly see yourself overweight, or in debt, that’s what your subconscious mind will continue to create for you in your reality. It’s very simple and takes very little time to mentally produce a “movie” that gives your subconscious a clear idea of what results you want. With consistent attention and effort toward what you DO want, you’ll be amazed at the results you can create with your power of mind!
